Designing a story people have to uncover.

Moshpitt.AVG treats the browser itself as part of the narrative. Instead of presenting information in a normal sequence, the experience uses hidden connections, codes, visual interference and separate pages to turn navigation into storytelling.

The interface is not a container for the story. The interface is part of the story.

Audience-led structure

The project rewards people for noticing patterns and following strange details. That means each page needs to work on two levels: it has to feel atmospheric on its own while also carrying information that points somewhere else.

Narrative design

Information is revealed through discovery rather than exposition.

Web structure

Interconnected pages act as a map of the experience.

Interaction

JavaScript effects and page behaviour are used to create tension and instability.

Visual language

Typography, distortion and composition reinforce the fictional system.
